No matter how much we may be in a position to help people from a clinical, relational, or spiritual perspective, the first priority is always to provide for physical needs. Often substance abuse leads to a loss of financial and physical support for individuals and their families.

Storehouse216 is theeffect’s foodbank, which is supported by local restaurants and retailers as well as by large food suppliers. The Storehouse provides nutritious food, including produce and dairy, on a regular weekly basis and also works with families directly and discreetly to help with food and other necessities up to and including temporary shelter and other needs.

People meet us every Sunday morning in our parking lot immediately following our Sunday Gathering at 11:15AM to go "shopping" for the necessities they need for the week. People in need can also call our ministry leader for special needs or discreet pickups. The Storehouse also works directly with the homeless community and sponsors special holiday meals.
